Welcome to this section, dedicated to the Apprentice program. La Capitale General Insurance has recently formed a partnership with Guardian, the company that has developed this innovative idea, focused on road safety and safe driving.
A program that promotes safe driving for new young drivers, Apprentice also highlights the importance of effective communication between young drivers and their parents. Therefore, La Capitale asks you to approach the Apprentice program as a valuable training and support tool.
Apprentice is based on the principle of a contract drawn up between you and your parents whereby each party commits to respecting a list of promises related to safe driving.

Did You Know?
Did you know that drivers aged between 16 and 24 are the age group most at risk for road accidents. In 2006, statistics from the SAAQ (Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec), show that young drivers were involved in more than 14,542 road accidents.
For this reason La Capitale thinks it is vitally important that young drivers (as well as their parents) are offered an alternative to avoid becoming one of these statistics
