Welcome to this section, dedicated to the Apprentice program. La Capitale General Insurance has recently formed a partnership with Guardian, the company that has developed this innovative idea, focused on road safety and safe driving.
A program that promotes safe driving for new young drivers, Apprentice also highlights the importance of effective communication between parent and child. Therefore, La Capitale asks you to approach the Apprentice program as a valuable training and support tool.
Apprentice is based on the principle of a contract drawn up between parent and child whereby each party commits to respecting a list of promises related to safe driving. This same concept has already proven effective in other parts of Canada and the U.S. We strongly suggest that you take a glance at the details of the Apprentice program. As you do so, keep in mind that La Capitale is proud to defray the cost for all of its car insurance policy holders.

Did You Know?
Did you know that drivers aged between 16 and 24 are the age group most at risk for road accidents. In 2006, statistics from the SAAQ (Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec), show that young drivers were involved in more than 14,542 road accidents.
For this reason La Capitale thinks it is vitally important that young drivers (as well as their parents) are offered an alternative to avoid becoming one of these statistics.
